This Game Is On Fire!

I have to admit when Tom first approached me about recording our weekly gaming sessions I didn't think it would translate well into the audio-only format. Yes, our games are always full of fantastic, fun, deep-thinking discussions, and a healthy dose of pure jackassery, but Tom assured me that it would go over great. After recording our Basements & Bastards Basic D&D game session, and then our Stormtroopin' with Unit 13: Tales from the Empire, we listened to them. . .

I was wrong.

After hearing how the verbal action actually played out - I was in deep. Yes, Tom was right.

But was it just us? After all we are active gamers and, of course, we understood everything; it all made perfect sense to us. But would it translate well for non-gamers? We tested the recordings with friends, wives, and girlfriends - none of whom game. For the most part, yes, they did get it. They also thought the interaction between the player's was hysterical.

So here we are.

Tom and I and all of the 20-Sided Warriors hope that you like our podcast outing of Star Wars and D&D RPGing. Hopefully it'll give you a smile, a laugh, and maybe... just maybe, something to talk about with your friends.

- BIG Johnny G!

We've added a collection of pictures from our games, some pics we find nerdily interesting, and some original RPG-themed memes to the site for your enjoyment.
